Twilight-- Oh my gosh!

Have I neglected to tell everyone about the best movie (and my experiences with) TWILIGHT??? Oh dear me, how could I? Okay, I went and saw the movie on opening day at the 12:01 am showing! My friend Leanne and I made shirts the night before to prepare! ((and may I toot my own horn here a bit? I drew the design and hand-wrote the "twilight" for the shirts freehand)) And all we did was use spray paint... and some little iron on sparklies.
The front of my shirt...

The back of the shirt...

Leanne SO EXCITED!!! Thank goodness for my dear obsessed friend!

Here we are in our seats with pal Kristen. We were about the fourth and fifth people in the theater!
Waiting in line over 10 hours is really hard work ;o) Luckily hubbies will bring treats and toys to keep us busy! Here we are with Brann in the back!
These are the people who were in front of us in line... and there were hundreds of people BEHIND us in line! There were 3 showings just after midnight, and they had us all line up together. It was so much fun! The movie is great! I have seen it 6 times, Leanne=5x, Brann=2x, Thomas=2x (or 3, I can't recall), Kristen=2x.... Twilight=goodtimes
And to all the lovely people out there who like to hate on people who wait hours in lines, and see movies repeatedly, (and obsessively read books, and make t-shirts) I say unto you I DON'T CARE! I am sure you all have things that you LOVE that make you happy. (and that you spend lots of monies on...) This last month has been about one of the funnestestest of my life! TWILIGHT FOREVER!

Hmong Christmas

Did you know that Santa is not a 'Whitie'? Nope, he is HMONG! I saw him make an appearance at an LDS Hmong Christmas party (which, p.s. had the most divine food ever!!! And we totally got stuffed cuz Hmong people love to feed us... and we love to eat it!) And Elder Vaj had to sit on Santa's knee again this year. He wished for world peace, I think. I really don't know, cuz it wasn't in English.

Merry Tacky Christmas!!!

This is my little Christmas set up on my desk at the office. Cute huh? Christmas is not quite complete without tiny trees and a musical snowglobe nativity.

This is me and my friend who shall remain nameless (apparently he may be wanted by the mob or something) wearing our UGLY CHRISTMAS sweaters. Mom bought these sweaters 2 for a dollar in OROVILLE. I had to classy mine up a bit. And I won 2nd place in the ugly sweater competition.

Here is Rebecca's classy little number! She got 3rd place in the contest... but truly, that is a dang ugly sweater!! We had a really fun time getting tacky for Christmas!
